The Libertarian Party of Indiana (also “we,” “us,” or “our”) has created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, and disclose information that you may provide while visiting our website, https://lpin.org, and our mobile sites, mobile applications, and other online services (the “Sites”) using a personal computer, mobile device, or any other means, and to demonstrate our firm commitment to Internet privacy. This Privacy Policy also applies to personal information collected by third-party vendors on our behalf.
What is Personal Information?
“Personal Information” is information about a particular individual that specifically identifies that individual or information about that individual, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, or credit or debit card information. Personal Information does not include “aggregate information,” which is data that may be collected automatically or without reference to Personal Information about the use of the Sites. The Privacy Policy does not restrict the Libertarian Party of Indiana collection and use of aggregate information.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The trusted devices feature employs a cookie named “itsec-fingerprint-shp” to validate and ensure that users are logging in from devices that are considered trustworthy.
A cookie named “itsec_interstitial_browser” is created to track a user’s login process to implement enhanced security features.
Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie that aids compatibility with some alternate login methods. This cookie contains no personal data and expires after 1 hour.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
We use CiviCRM to manage our members and supporters. Our CRM is in-house and does not share data with third parties. We do share this with party leaders and verified volunteers who must sign an NDA to gain access to the CRM. Depending on the volunteers role, some information will be restricted such as contribution history. Access is granted based on geography such as a county leader accessing Libertarian supporters in their county.
When running Security Check, solidwp.com will be contacted as part of a process to determine if the site supports TLS/SSL requests. No personal data is sent to solidwp.com as part of this process. In order to ensure file integrity, Solid Security pulls data from wordpress.org, solidwp.com, ithemes.com and amazonaws.com. No personal data is sent to these sites. Requests to wordpress.org include the WordPress version, the site’s locale, a list of installed plugins, and a list of each plugin’s version. Data Collection
Caldera Forms stores data only briefly for each submission. This data is passed to CiviCRM.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Security logs are retained for 60 days.
Where your data is sent

However, no personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or associated with this data.
