Libertarian Party of Indiana candidate for United States Senate Rebecca Sink-Burris will appear on Special Report with Brett Baier on the Fox News Channel this evening at approximately 6:30 PM. The interview was taped this afternoon with Sink-Burris discussing the upcoming Republican and Democratic primaries.
“I emphasized that the Libertarian Party is now the sensible middle and that my campaign would give disenfranchised voters a place to cast their vote,” said Sink-Burris. “Whether these are Democrats unhappy with the continuation of the war, which Obama promised to end, or Tea Party folks who are not interested in sending another big government insider back to the Senate, I am hopeful that the politically homeless will take a look at voting for something different.”
Sink-Burris continued,”To have Fox News phone me and want my take on the Indiana Senate primary race is a sign of how far we have come and how significant this election is. I have never seen this amount of interest in the Libertarian party this early in an election year. I see this as another sign that the voters are dissatisfied with the inside the beltway choices they have been given and are looking for alternatives. This is a great time to be a Libertarian!”
