INDIANAPOLIS—The U.S. Senate candidates have agreed to participate in three televised debates in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Vincennes, which will be broadcast live through the Indiana Debate Commission’s television partners.
The candidates are Republican Dan Coats, Democrat Brad Ellsworth, and Libertarian Rebecca Sink-Burris.
The dates and locations include:

The public is invited to submit questions for consideration to be asked of the candidates in the three debates on the commission’s website at www.indianadebatecommission.com.
The non-profit commission is the only independent group in the state of Indiana that provides free statewide broadcast satellite feeds for those interested in sharing debates either live or delayed to communities across Indiana.
“Thirteen venues submitted this year to be considered as debate locations and these are the top choices for this fall’s debate schedule,” said Debate Commission Vice President Phil Meyer, who is the station manager for WTIU-TV (PBS Bloomington). “We’re also pleased to have several broadcast partners on board who will assist us in distributing the one-hour debates to audiences across Indiana.”
Locations and times for ticket availability for the public will be announced at a later date.
