Steward: Start Telling Them "No!" Now

EVANSVILLE, IN -- We keep waiting for that proverbial "straw" that breaks the camel's back yet the constantly hoodwinked populace continues to lay absolutely numb and oblivious to just how badly they are being had.

The Grandfather of all Bailouts should have been the tipping point for the American people, but aside from a brief slew of phone calls to congress before the final votes were counted and the conveniently ignored protests by main stream media, of protests on Wall Street, hardly an echo murmured forth afterwards.

The proles went back to the salt mines, apparently forgetting already that they will be kissing goodbye more of their freedoms and an ever increasing chunk of their paychecks and purchasing power. They will also be counted on again to line up for the next grand maneuver of widespread fleecing, once this gaggle of kleptomaniacs squanders the $1 Trillion plus of ill gotten swag, literally stolen from them.

Steward: Fair Is a Four-letter Word

EVANSVILLE, IN -- It can be counted on that sacrifice of one's own self (you know, the self that you own) is more often than not, the steep fee that the nebulous idea of what "fair" charges for it's usage as a concept. It is almost never worth the overinflated price tag paid by its potential victims, to achieve some vague and non-existent notion of the "greater good".

Fair is just another, four letter f-word, constantly misused. A handy and at least to those who wield it, inexpensive tool that's primary use it to control others and achieve an outcome favorable to the person or group making the demand on another. This they do while attempting to lay claim to what is indeed fair. No debate of what is truly equitable to all is ever to be allowed. A duty to act is both implied and demanded.

Steward: Who's Going to Pay Those Taxes?

EVANSVILLE, IN -- The House of Representatives today decided to ignore the true causes of intense pain in the housing market, and let Freeloading Freddie Mac and Fiendish Fannie Mae get a pass for ripping off American home buyers and the taxpayers. They seldom get it that when any market stumbles and falls, it's because the government pushed them.

It will be very interesting to find out who Leviathan will send to protect the reputations of the federal architects of disaster when the masses gather with pitchforks and torches, thirsty for tax revolt. These taxes will be more than people will be able to dream of paying once the final bill is tallied.

Taxes will be attempt to be raised and even more likely, in an extremely steep way, to pay for the "Banks that Tanked" fiasco. A truly hard lesson learned in just how intensely stupidity can be engineered by Uncle Sam himself and his failed policies of government interference in the housing market.
