INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Just two months into posting his blog, Tim Maguire's online audience has grown considerably. Maguire, the Pike Township Advisory Board candidate and 2008 LPIN Bourland Light of Liberty award winner, began his blog, Justice & Fortitude, with a mix of original content and musings on recent news and events.

The growth in readership and popularity mirrors Maguire's growing stature in the Indianapolis area. Maguire was recently elected Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals on which he serves. Also, last Friday, a fundraiser for Maguire's advisory board campaign, hosted by Brad Klopfenstein and Jaenelle Antas, brought in close to $1,000.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Marion County Libertarian activist and candidate Timothy Maguire was chosen by the 2008 LPIN convention attendees as their choice for the Dr. Barbara Bourland Light of Liberty award this past weekend.

Originally from Illinois, Tim and his wife Allison moved to Indianapolis five years ago, and instantly fell in love with the city. They were married here, bought a house here, and adopted two dogs here. They have “planted their flag” in Indianapolis and are proud to call themselves Hoosiers.
