Video of the Day: Rupert on Marriage Equality

Democrat John Gregg’s campaign spokeswoman Megan Jacobs, “John’s record is clear, he has always been opposed to gay marriage. As speaker of the House, John supported legislation to define marriage as between a man and a woman, and continues to support traditional marriage.”

Equality under the law is a hallmark of Libertarian philosophy, and is at Rupert’s political core. Please share this message with your friends and family if they support equality under the law for ALL Hoosiers.

Video of the Day: IRS Protectionism, New Licensing Scheme Challenged in Major Federal Lawsuit

For more visit http://www.ij.org/IRS

Congress never gave the IRS the authority to license tax preparers, and the IRS can’t give itself that power.

But last year the IRS imposed a sweeping new licensing scheme that forces tax preparers to get IRS permission before they can work. This is an unlawful power grab that exceeds the authority granted to the IRS by Congress.

Video of the Day: Bruce Fein: “We Are at the Verge of Despotism!”

Video description:

“ A roundtable discussion was held on September 12, 2011, at Busboys & Poets in Washington, D.C. It featured Bruce Fein, an attorney and adjunct scholar with the American Enterprise Institute. Ralph Nader was on the panel and also served as the moderator for the event. It dealt generally with the “US government’s reaction to 9/11.” Mr. Fein said: “We are at the verge of despotism!” He was sharply critical of the US Congress, labeling its members as “weak and irresponsible.” Mr. Fein also ripped the former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), for not disclosing to the American people, via the “Speech and Debate Clause” of the Constitution, what she knew from the CIA about “torture, waterboarding and illegal surveillance.” He said Rep. Pelosi acted like “a vassal, a serf,” when she meekly followed the CIA’s order to “shut-up” about the reported wrongdoings.”
