Rupert: The Fight Continues…

Thank you everyone that cast their ballot for me. I would be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t disappointed in the vote totals, but what they don’t reflect are the thousands of Hoosiers that were hopefully empowered by our campaign. I am not a politician. I am someone that wanted my voice to be heard, and for yours to be heard through my campaign. We’re not going anywhere.

We may be wrapping up this campaign in the morning, we will also be starting our campaign for 2016 . We will be watching what our new Governor is going to do, and we will definitely hold his feet to the fire to ensure he does what he promised us all.

I also am looking forward to going back to working on my mentoring program, Rupert’s Kids. For everyone of you that supported me on this campaign I could use your help with Rupert’s Kids. We will start working tomorrow on our new programs because we don’t take a day off from serving our community.

Strengthening our Libertarian party hasn’t been easy, but we have to do it and it will depend on you. It will depend on all of us. I am ready to continue the fight. Are you? It’s Our Time! – Rupert

Rupert Boneham named “Top five political superstars to watch this Election 2012″ by Washington Times

The Washington Times has named Rupert Boneham one of the “Top five political superstars to watch this Election 2012.”

5. Rupert Bonehamformer Survivor contestant and Libertarian candidate for Indiana governor
Three time Survivor contestant and fan favorite Rupert Boneham is now a Libertarian candidate for Indiana governor. Having raised over $70,000 for his gubernatorial campaign, Boneham is the highest fundraising non-presidential LP candidate of this year’s election. But it’s not surprising that Boneham is such a popular Libertarian state candidate: For over twenty years he has been active in his community as a mentor of children and a generous donor to local charities.

Running against Republican Congressman Mike Pence and former Democratic state Speaker of the House John Gregg, Boneham is a hero to third parties all across America and an shining example of how persistence and humility can change the political narrative. The man nicknamed “The Gentle Giant” is the epitome of a hometown hero and arguably the most inspiring rising political star this year.

Candidate Achievements in 2012: Rupert Boneham for Governor

(We are sharing some of the hard work of some of our Libertarian candidates during the 2012 cycle as a way to say thank you for moving the Libertarian Party forward.)

Rupert made over 400 campaign stops since his announcement to run for Governor on August 28th, 2011. He has visited all 92 counties twice, and some several times. This included 21 county fairs, 14 days at the State Fair, 12 parades, 6 LGBT festivals, 15 Libertarian Party county conventions, 3 state party conventions, and the national Libertarian convention in Las Vegas, NV.
