Indy Chamber Hosts Annual HobNob Tonight

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual candidate event tonight, September 4th, at the Indiana State Museum, located in White River State Park, downtown Indianapolis. Doors to the event open at 7:00 p.m.

The HobNob: Meet the Candidates is the premier political event in Central Indiana, opening the region’s election season. The event gathers the candidates for the upcoming election year in a casual and fun environment and provides both Chamber and community members the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the candidates.

In years past, HobNob proved to be a flashpoint for candidates for Marion County Prosecutor and provided an early glimpse of Mayor Greg Ballard, who went on to stage one of the biggest election upsets in Indiana political history. The 2008 event will take place at the Indiana State Museum along the canal and will include a short program and food and beverage for attendees to enjoy.

Be informed. Be heard. Be there.

NEW to the event this year, Howey Politics Indiana will release its third (of four) Howey Gauge Poll results exclusively at HobNob.

COST: $10 per person

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is not available. Please plan to pay at the door on event day.
