Well said!!!
As we celebrate "Independence Day" let's all remove our consent (to be governed) and just see how independent we can be.
The part about one's duty to be civilly disobedient really tickled me. THANKS!

That civil disobedience needs to start on the Gulf Coast, where the health and property of those residents (not to mention the animals and environment) are being destroyed by BP and it's partner in crime, the U.S. government. The government is disallowing states and private individuals from cleaning up and protecting their personal or shared property in the region. BP and the government are also bullying the media to stay out of places they don't want them. For the sake of their health, their property, and their planet, these people must resist. They must defend themselves from the invading oil, gas, and Corexit 9500 invaders and–-to use the feds' own terms--the terrorist country that harbors them. The government and BP are responding to the disaster not with cleanup, but coverup. The people must conduct cleanup and rescue operations without government or BP permission, or this disaster will destroy every piece of land and water in the entire Gulf of Mexico and its coastlines, then spread its destruction into the Atlantic toward the East Coast, Greenland, and Europe.
